29 Bible Verses About Stress and Beating Anxiety
"Take heart! I have overcome the world!"
It is more likely than not these days to find yourself stressed or anxious. Work, relationships, money, health and just trying to juggle all of the things is enough to make anyone anxious. Am I doing enough? Being enough? We live in a fallen world much different than the way that the Lord intended when He created it.
But friends! The Lord knew and He made a way! Our Heavenly Father sent Jesus to be our redemption and he died so that we might have peace in this life and forevermore in Him. His word says that His peace is not as the world gives, but better. I have often felt that if I am casting my cares on the Lord, then I am ignoring important issues that I need to deal with, or that I am neglecting what I should be caring about. But this is quite the opposite!!
When we place our biggest obstacles and fears in the hands of our loving Father, He is more than capable of relieving us of those anxieties and providing for our every need.
We pray that these bible verses about stress will be rooted and grounded in your heart and bear the fruit of peace in your life!

Bible Verses About Rest and Peace
Real peace, a peace that only the Lord gives, is found in Him and His word. Our stresses and anxieties are minimized when we set our hearts and mind on the word of God and the peace it brings! Jesus knew the authority that was given to him by the kingdom of heaven and used that authority to speak peace into every situation he encountered.
He Himself was at times under tremendous stress, and knows what it is like to be fully human! I am so thankful that He understands the stress and anxiety that can overwhelm us on the earth, and even more thankful that He has overcome the world!

Hebrews 4:11-12 (AMP): Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience [as those who died in the wilderness]. 12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Psalm 34:14: Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
Psalm 62:1-2: Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
