Christmas Devotional- Day 10

He Rules The World With Truth and Grace

    The Word became flesh and dwelt among us! In John 1:1, it says, "In the very beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and it was God." Think about it Jesus was the actual Word of God, full of glory, demonstrating the Father's love to us. Mary even said to the Angel concerning conceiving the messiah, "Let it be according to your word," she watched as that Word she received grew inside her until she held the Word made flesh. Wow, How powerful is the Word, and what a gift we have in the Word of God that we can plant the Word in our hearts and watch it grow knowing that it is alive and active.
In Jesus, we see grace and truth to the fullest. He is the full expression of our heavenly Father. Our Father gave His only Son for us, so that we could have eternal life (John 3:16). John 4:9 goes on to say, "This is how God showed his love among us; He sent His one and only son into the world that we might live through him. The spirit of Jesus dwells within us when we accept HIM AS OUR SAVIOR. We can walk out every step of this life in peace and abundance because we have the spirit of grace and truth living in us.
