And Wonders of His Love
The Webster's dictionary describes Wonder as something or someone that is very surprising, beautiful, amazing, etc.
All through the Bible, we see the wonders of His love for us, How He saved us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8), He made us alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:4-5), we are called the Sons and daughters of God (2 Corinthians 6:18). The list goes on and what is so amazing is that He created us to fellowship with Him, to be His family. The Father knew that He would have to redeem us, but he loved us so much that He had a plan. He chose us in Him before the foundations of the world (Ephesians 1:4)! It really is so marvelous that it is hard to fully understand. That is why it was Pauls prayer that we "May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God." Oh, How he loves us! Joy to the world the Lord; is come!
Lord, we praise you for your great love for us and sending your only Son born of a virgin; we thank you for your Word made flesh. We thank you that we are no longer bound by sin, but grace overflows. Show us how to prepare more room in our hearts for you in the days to come. The honor and glory are yours forever, Amen!
