Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room
Our hearts were created to know God, and we have the most satisfaction when we give Him place to take up room in our hearts. He desires to dwell and take up residence inside all of us, and when we invite Him in, He wants to be our best friend. When we take the time to read the Word of God, listen to a sermon or be still and pray, we are making more room for Christ and for his spirit to talk to us. Jesus, who is our life, wants a life of abundance, freedom, and wholeness for us. Proverbs 4:23 says to guard your heart above all else, for from it flows the springs of life. We are the gatekeepers who decide what we let through our gates, and the more we allow clutter in, the harder it is to hear that still small voice. Give attention to His words (Proverbs 4:20) and promises, make room to behold Him, and watch as your life is filled with His rare and beautiful treasures.
